tshirt quilt

I really enjoy making tshirt quilts! This one I just finished up for a customer... I made 2 of the borders a little wider and put in a cornerstone with her initial. I always like to do something to make them a little "wonky" if you will! And check out this beautiful fabric I found for the back...

Usually I do some patchwork with the backs of the tshirts on the quilt back, but I thought this fabric stood better on it's own. I hope she likes it too!

What a great quilt and that fabric is perfect for the back. Can you make pillows from t-shirts? I have two I'd love to do something with.

I love the idea of using much loved tees in a quilt. Your monogram addition is just the perfect touch of wonky-ness. Makes it extra special.

It is nice that the shirts all seem to work together. Fun!

I love the t-shirt quilt! My husband has soooooo many t-shirts (and he thinks he can't get rid of many of them). I mentioned to him that some could be made into a quilt. Of course, I'd have to get my act together to try a t-shirt quilt.
